It is called Hero Team (ヒーローチーム), also known as Protagonist Team (主人公チーム), to the teams that take center stage in the different games of The King of Fighters.

In each saga the Hero Team changes depending on the main story of the games. In which the protagonists of The King of Fighters stand out. Usually they always end in the finals or end up winning the tournament, that's where the story is drawn.

- K' Team (Main Team of the Saga). He has changed members during the saga, Vanessa, Ramon, Lin and Shingo were some.
